Tricks and Beats is the mastermind of Kariem Ahmed that he started in 2006 with his talent in beatboxing & juggling.

Soon he expanded his talent for these two art forms and decided to participate in an open stage. That was a success, and he was asked to beatbox at the Wantijpop festival in Dordrecht. In 2008, Beatboxer Kariem participated in two beatbox competitions. In Haarlem, where he earned first place, and third place in The Hague. Later the same year, he participated in the TV program: “Holland’s got talent” where he reached the live show’s semi-finals.

He has performed with artists such as Dio, Ali-B, Yes-R, Diggy Dex, Extince, Dilated Peoples, Heltah Skeltah, and Skiggy Rapz.
