Café Noir is a versatile trio performing a mix of jazz, pop, and French chansons. The band can also tailor its repertoire to suit the musical style or theme of any event. Café Noir is ideal for drinks, walking dinners, chic receptions, relaxed boat trips, garden parties, and intimate birthday celebrations.
Singer Esther captivates audiences with her warm and expressive voice. Cord plays the double bass with rhythm, melody, and dedication, while also adding backing vocals. Folker completes the trio with rich guitar harmonies and tasteful solos. Their enjoyment of playing together is clear in every performance.
For events that require an even fuller sound, Café Noir can be expanded with a talented saxophonist. This addition brings extra depth and musical colour to the ensemble’s distinctive atmosphere.

On September 6, 2025, Café Noir performed at our private party. They gave us and our guests a truly wonderful evening. The music was excellent and perfectly matched what we had in mind, with a gradual build-up throughout the program. Not only were we impressed by the band, but many of our guests also complimented us on our choice. They have a great sense of the atmosphere and genuinely think along with you to ensure their music fits your wishes and the mood of the event. Communication beforehand was excellent, and everything went according to plan on the day itself. All in all, we were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend them.

I would like to express how much my guests and I enjoyed Café Noir’s performance on July 5th at De Groene Afslag in Bussum. They are warm, genuine people who perfectly understood their role at the event, providing excellent music while remaining approachable and engaging.
