Richy Brown is a singer with a track record that immediately impresses you. He participated in the first edition of X-Factor where he finished second. With his participation he came into the spotlight of LA The Voices, with whom he made six albums, sold out Carré, performed in all major music halls and sports palaces in the Netherlands, received several gold records and was even awarded a platinum record.

Growing up, Richy listened to a lot of soul and pop R&B from the nineties. Later his attention shifted to the jazzy sounds of Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, Norah Jones and Jamie Cullum. Solomon Burke’s cross-genre sound (blues, gospel, and R&B/soul) made him realize that he too does not have to limit himself to one genre or time period in his performances.
