Martina and Joy are the duo behind Duo Bom, a Brazilian jazz ensemble known for their dynamic performances and multi-instrumental expertise. They are reaching out to explore the possibility of collaborating with you and performing as part of your program. What sets this duo apart is their versatility—not only do they sing, but they also play multiple instruments, including guitar, pandeiro, flute, cavaquinho, asalato, and various percussion instruments. This unique combination creates a rich and full sound that goes beyond a typical duo performance.

Formed by singer Martina Effy and guitarist Joy Goh, the duo is an active presence in the Brazilian music scene in the Netherlands. With a deep musical connection, they bring a warm, vibrant, and engaging atmosphere to concerts, festivals, and events. Their repertoire spans a wide range of Brazilian genres, from Bossa Nova, Samba, and Forró to Choro, Pagode, and MPB. Depending on the event’s needs, they also collaborate with larger ensembles. Both Martina and Joy graduated from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in 2022. They would love the opportunity to bring their music to your audience.
