TWQ staat voor Thomas Wessels Quintet. De band is begonnen in een andere samenstelling, maar na verschillende zoektochten naar de juiste formatie bestaat de band nu uit zangeres Britt Teeling, drummer Rachid Rejaibi, pianist Thijmen Schoute, Trompettist Thomas Wessels en bassist Florean Kruijswijk Jansen. Door deze band wordt het publiek verast met een sfeervolle mix van bekende nummers met Amerikaanse, West-Europese en Afrikaanse invloeden. TWQ treedt o.a. op bij bruiloften, bedrijfsfeesten en bijzondere bijeenkomsten.

Zo heeft de band o.a. gespeeld op locaties als Taets Art Gallery, de Adam toren, Club Air, Koetshuis de Zadelhof, de Harbourclub, Jaz hotel en Grand hotel Huis ter Duin. Deze veelzijdige band biedt een indrukwekkende muzikale beleving en een geweldige toevoeging aan ieder feest of evenement, daarbij voelen de artiesten elkaar feilloos aan.

Hoewel TWQ bekend staat als een jazz band, beheersen alle bandleden meerdere muziekstijlen, zoals Funk, R&B, Hip-Hop, Bebop, Swing, Soul & Latin. Deze indrukwekkende artiesten vertellen hun verhaal via de muziek en brengen het publiek zo zuiver entertainment. De muziek die zij maken staat voor vrijheid in melodie en harmonie. Jazz is onvoorspelbaar, het is de improvisatie die het geheel zo boeiend maakt.
