Jazz and the City is te boeken in verschillende combinaties. Als trio past Jazz and the City werkelijk overal. De combinatie van zang, gitaar en contrabas is ideaal voor bij een borrel of een zakelijk event. Als quartet met of een drummer of een saxofonist erbij is de band meer compleet. Met sax is Jazz and the City natuurlijk heerlijk melodisch, met drums extra swingend.

Het meest geboekt is de uitgebreide versie. Het quintet dat dan uitgebreid is met een geweldige saxofonist en natuurlijk de drums maakt de band helemaal compleet. In deze combinatie, met ook de drums erbij, is het ook mogelijk om een set te verzorgen met heerlijke danceclassics om lekker op te dansen. Tot slot is de band ook te boeken in combinatie met een allround DJ.
Deze DJ draait lekker relaxt als de band niet speelt en brengt, indien gewenst, na het optreden van de band de avond naar een swingend hoogtepunt.
